Some of my favourite photographs are created when a couple forgets the camera is there. Ugnė and Tanguy’s couples photoshoot in Tarras was full of those moments – laughing until they pulled funny faces, running hand in hand down quiet country roads, spinning through golden fields and sharing quiet moments amongst the long grasses.
Surrounded by the wide-open landscapes of Central Otago, this documentary-style session wasn’t about perfect poses. It was about capturing the way they naturally moved together, the joy they found being playful and the little in-between moments that often become the most meaningful memories.
